Under 9's - Winners Of Ringmer Rovers Tournament
and Third Place in Ringmer Rovers Tournament.
2 Under 9's Teams played extremely well both getting through to the Quarter Finals where 1 team met Lewes Bridge View and beat the 2-0 and the other team met Hawks Youth with a 0-0 draw but won on Penalties.  Both teams then went on to meet Hove Park Colts in their respective semi-finals from which we were hoping for a Hollingbury V Hollingbury Final, but to no avail as 1 team were cruelly beaten on Penalties, but the other team won. To come to a gripping Hollingbury Hawks v Hove Park Colts Final.  After a game with many chances (and and 7.30pm) the game was drawn and went to Penalties in which Hollingbury Hawks were the winners.
The boys all played impeccably well and other teams commented on thier sportsmanship.

Well Done to both teams. A wonderful Day.

After winning the 7 game group stage with only one goal conceded and thirty one scored, the boys went on to beat Lewes Bridge View in the semi final 4-0 before just edging a robust Rottingdean team in the final 3-2.
Well done to Faz and the boys!

Sunday 18th May 2014 - Under 9's Group Winners
Crowborough Football Tournament.  - Another amazing tournament for the Under 9's. Although entered in this non-competitive tournament.  They played outstandingly and topped their group without losing a game or conceeding a goal.  All in Glorious sunshine.
Sunday 11th May 2014 - Under 9's Runners up Again!

Hollingbury Hawks Under 9's travelled to Adams Park, the Home of Wycombe Wanderers FC.  Where they played 8 amazing games against some very strong teams.  Cruelly they came runners up based only on goal difference.  As you can see from the photo it didn't dampen their spirits.

Well done to all the boys who competed!
A great day out had by Players and Parents who hope to return next Year.
